Gynbo show us her 24th scale study full of books, a snapshot of daily life in the Victorian and finally the Boat House
A special introduction to a new mascot, Bert. He is
replacing Elderly Ted for Ann H as Ted has moved
into the retirement centre
My Victorian 1/12th is my first attempt at miniatures
built from a kit and scratch and the only project
actually finished! LOL I was thrilled to have it featured
in DHMS and to get such rave reviews for the story
that went with it about the characters. Apparently
many miniaturists who DON'T have dolls in their
houses changed their minds after reading my story.
My study in Toad Hall (1/24th scale) was a challenge as
there are over 200 books made by me on those
shelves!!  I treated myself to a pat on the back for that
one!
Ratty's boat house was built from scratch 1/24th, and my favourite piece so far. I felt very proud of my achievements and
Grandad David and Noni herself both said I had come of age and become a miniaturist! I later showed it amongst other
things at a local show in the Model Tent. The gentlemen modellers thought Tim had done it, but were quick to praise the
correct person when I made myself a badge that said "Women model more than clothes".

Donatella  won in the hair style category once for
an MSAT contest for Linda P, which amazed her as
she doesn't think she has wigging skills
